Since joining U-Drive Ltd, Kim has been instrumental in advancing our sustainability efforts, particularly in the transition to electric vehicles (EVs). With a strong background in decarbonisation, she quickly built expertise in all things EV and has become a key figure in our company’s zero emission journey.

“I’m incredibly honoured to receive the BVRLA's Decarbonisation Driver Award.” Said Kim Phillips, U-Drive's EV Consultant & Corporate Account Manager.

“Supporting businesses in their transition to electric vehicles has been both a passion and a mission for me. At U-Drive, we’re committed to making sustainable fleet solutions accessible, and I’m proud to play a role in driving this change. This award is not just a personal achievement but a recognition of the collective effort to create a greener future for our industry.”

A Driving Force in EV Consultancy

Kim’s standout achievement has been the creation and launch of U-Drive’s EV Consultancy service. Designed to support businesses transitioning to electric vehicles, the service simplifies the process into four key steps: Consultation, Data Analysis, Site Surveys, and Training. This service not only aims to help businesses reduce their carbon emissions but has also strengthened U-Drive’s reputation as a sustainability-focused company.

Additionally, Kim developed an EV transition presentation tailored for fleet managers, making the transition to electric vehicles more accessible and manageable.

Kim’s passion for decarbonisation extends beyond consultancy services. She played a crucial role in developing U-Drive’s EV Knowledge Hub, an online resource aimed at educating businesses and the public on EV adoption. Within the first two months of launch, this content was viewed by over 400 users, and plans are in place to expand it further in 2025.

She has also actively engaged with industry experts, attended multiple EV events, and test-driven various electric vehicles to gain first-hand experience. Her contributions to marketing videos and thought leadership on LinkedIn have positioned her as a key advocate for sustainable fleet solutions.

We couldn’t be prouder to see Kim’s hard work and dedication recognised on such a prestigious platform. Winning the BVRLA Industry Hero Award is a testament to her commitment to driving sustainability in the industry.

Congratulations, Kim, on this well-deserved achievement!
